Genisom AI (智身科技) was founded in December 2023 in Beijing. Co-founder Liu Yulong led product on Xiaomi's CyberDog. The company builds the full stack: its own CHAMP joint modules, software and navigation, then the robots.
Five quadrupeds: the wheel-leg L1-W (10 kg continuous payload, >5.5 m/s peak, IP54), the M1 (6 m/s, 29 km range, IP67), the compact L2 (16 kg walking payload, IP66), the entry L1 and the explosion-proof SP1 (50 kg payload; China Ex claim, EU ATEX papers not public). Series B closed in September 2026 at hundreds of millions of RMB; valuation is undisclosed.
