These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of behindrobotics.com (the "Site"), operated by Behind Robotics ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What behindrobotics.com is

Behind Robotics is a robotics, drone, and embodied-AI industry media outlet and data service: original editorial content, news, and a curated company/funding/technology database and analytics tools (including the Database Map, Company Database, and Investment Monitor).

2. Ownership of content

Unless otherwise noted, all content on this Site is owned by behindrobotics.com or its licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws:

• Underlying factual data — company names, funding events, and similar facts referenced in our database are drawn from and aggregated across public sources. We cite primary sources where applicable.
• Site technology and code — the software, design, and technical infrastructure that power this Site are our own original work.
• Editorials, news, and other written content — our articles, analysis, and editorial content are our own original work product. Third parties are welcome to quote brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page on behindrobotics.com.
• Curated data and analytics — the organization, selection, verification, categorization, and analysis behind our database, charts, and the Investment Monitor represent our own original curatorial and analytical work, distinct from the public facts they draw on.

3. Acceptable use

You may browse and use the Site for personal, informational, and non-commercial reference purposes. You may not, without our prior written permission:

• Systematically scrape, bulk-download, mirror, or reproduce our curated database, editorial content, or analytics for redistribution, resale, or to build a competing product or dataset;
• Use automated means to access the Site in a manner inconsistent with our published robots.txt crawling policy;
• Misrepresent your identity, impersonate any person or entity, or attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems;
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

4. Not investment, financial, or legal advice

Content on this Site — including company profiles, funding and valuation figures, the Investment Monitor, market ticker data, and any editorial commentary — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute investment, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment or business decision. Market data (including via our Finnhub integration) may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Always do your own research and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
