These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of behindrobotics.com (the "Site"). These Terms are offered by the operator of behindrobotics.com. 1. What behindrobotics.com is

Behind Robotics publishes news, analysis, and a curated database of companies, robots, and related records, including on-site charts such as Capital and Supply. Charts stay on the site. The Site does not offer a public API or a downloadable dataset.

2. Ownership of content

Unless otherwise noted, all content on this Site is owned by behindrobotics.com or its licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws:

Underlying factual data — company names, funding events, and similar facts referenced in our database are drawn from and aggregated across public sources. We cite primary sources where applicable.
Site technology and code — the software, design, and technical infrastructure that power this Site are our own original work.
Editorials, news, and other written content — our articles, analysis, and editorial content are our own original work product. Third parties are welcome to quote brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page on behindrobotics.com.
Curated data and analytics — the organization, selection, verification, categorization, and analysis behind our database and charts are our own original curatorial and analytical work, distinct from the public facts they draw on.

3. Acceptable use

You may browse and use the Site for personal, informational, and non-commercial reference purposes. You may not, without our prior written permission:

Systematically scrape, bulk-download, mirror, or reproduce our curated database, editorial content, or analytics for redistribution, resale, or to build a competing product or dataset;
Use automated means to access the Site in a manner inconsistent with our published robots.txt crawling policy;
Misrepresent your identity, impersonate any person or entity, or attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems;
Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

4. Not investment, financial, or legal advice

Content on this Site, including company profiles, funding and valuation figures, on-site charts, market ticker data, and any editorial commentary, is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute investment, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment or business decision. 5. No warranty; data accuracy

We aggregate and curate information from public and third-party sources on a best-effort basis and correct errors when we become aware of them, but we make no warranty, express or implied, that any information on the Site is complete, accurate, current, or error-free. The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

6. Trademarks and no endorsement

Company names, product names and logos (e.g. Tesla, Figure, Unitree, AgiBot) are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the companies and products we report on. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by or endorsement of behindrobotics.com. Behind Robotics is an independent publication.

7. Third-party content

Videos and images from third parties are shown with source credit for reporting purposes. Rights remain with their owners. Rights holders can request removal at contact@behindrobotics.com or via the contact form. We respond within 5 business days.

The Site may link to or reference third-party websites and services. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party content, websites, or services, and linking to them doesn't imply our endorsement.

8. Corrections and right of reply

We aim to be accurate. Claims made by companies are marked as "claimed" unless independently verified. If you think something is wrong, email contact@behindrobotics.com or use the contact form (topic "Editorial"). We review requests promptly and log material corrections publicly at /corrections.html. Persons or companies affected by a factual statement may request a reply.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you normally live.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of behindrobotics.com will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content.

We may update these Terms from time to time as the Site evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
