DefenseWireFinland · C-UAS · public markets

Finnish counter-drone maker Sensofusion began main-market trading on Nasdaq Helsinki on 13 Oct 2026 under the ticker SENSO. Unusually for a defense-tech IPO, it listed with a profit.

The share issue raised about EUR 259M gross (~$300M) at EUR 16.41 (~$19) a share, or about EUR 300M (~$350M) if the over-allotment option is exercised in full. Cornerstone investors Elo, Ilmarinen, OP funds and Varma committed about EUR 170M (~$197M) at a pre-money equity value of up to EUR 1.3B (~$1.5B). The company says it now has more than 21,800 shareholders.[1]

For 1 Jul 2025 to 30 Jun 2026, Sensofusion reports EUR 49.4M (~$57M) in revenue and EUR 30.1M (~$35M) in operating profit, with 111 employees. These are company figures and unaudited. The Vantaa company, led by founder-CEO Tuomas Rasila, sells the Airfence line of RF detection, jamming and interceptor-drone systems. It says the proceeds will fund R&D, more production and testing capacity, and balance-sheet flexibility.[1]

Company / unauditedIPO size, price, cornerstones and the 12-month P&L and headcount come from Sensofusion’s IPO investor page and have not been audited. USD equivalents are estimates at ≈$1.16/€ and ≈$1.34/£.

The IPO wasn’t the only counter-drone deal

  • Fortem Technologies (Lindon, Utah) closed a $50M Series B led by Lockheed Martin to scale DroneHunter and SkyDome production (company PR, 5 Oct 2026).[2]
  • Electro Optic Systems signed a £370M (~$495M; ~A$700M) nationwide counter-drone contract with a GCC government, built on MARSS NiDAR. It is still subject to conditions precedent (company news, 9 Oct 2026).[3]
Bottom lineA profitable, 111-person C-UAS maker now trades on a European main market, in the same week as a prime-led strategic round and a sovereign contract. Counter-drone kit is drawing capital from public markets, strategic investors and governments at once.
