Ranked · Infographic · Humanoids
Makers measure humanoid payload differently: peak lift, per arm, both arms, a range. We ranked the 16 humanoids in our database whose makers say how they measure it and claim more than 5 kg, plus Figure 03 for reference, whose spec sheet gives “Payload 20KG” without a basis.
Key takeaways
- Kawasaki's Kaleido tops the list at about 60 kg (“lift”), ahead of Boston Dynamics' Atlas at 50 kg instant.
- Atlas is one of the few with more than one number: 50 kg instant, 30 kg sustained, 20 kg one-handed. Hexagon's AEON gives 15 kg short-term and 8 kg constant carry.
- Dual-arm maximums (Kepler K2 30 kg, RobotEra L7 20 kg) and per-arm figures (Unitree H2 ~7 kg, PAL TALOS 6 kg) are not comparable with each other.
- NEURA quotes 10–100 kg for 4NE1, “application-dependent”; Foundation quotes 20–40 kg for Phantom MK1.

Sort and filter the ranking
Tap a row for the maker's exact wording. Blue = maker says how it's measured; grey = basis not stated (Figure 03); hatched = top of a stated range. † = Unitree H2 (from its arm spec) and Figure 03 (basis not stated). Bars drawn to scale within each sort. Missing values shown as "— not published", never estimated.

Source: behindrobotics.com robot database (current to Aug 2026), compiled from manufacturer spec sheets and product pages. All figures company-stated; none independently tested. Ranked by stated payload, low end of any range. Digit's 35 lb converted to 15.9 kg. Excluded: payloads of 5 kg or less and robots whose maker gives no basis; Figure 03 shown for reference (figure.ai/figure: “Payload 20KG”). Unitree H2 from its arm spec (~7 kg per arm). Payload/mass = Behind Robotics arithmetic on the low end, shown only where mass is published (wheeled bases excluded). Photos: manufacturers' official images, backgrounds removed.
